In this collection of lessons we will learn about a wide variety of useful Hypershade rendering nodes. These lessons include using the Displacement node to create displacement-mapping effects, using the Layered Texture node to create complex multi-layered textures, using the Optical FX node to add realistic lens flares to Maya lights, using the different Switch Utility nodes in order to add realistic variation between many objects using the same shading network, plus several other useful Hypershade nodes.

Kundalini Yoga with Maya Fiennes - A Journey Through The Chakras
This is an upgrade over the vast other small tears of this DVD set. Previous Rips I met had one or a combination of all these problems: bad / distorted video resolution, whistling feedback-ish rumors through the video, composite video formats, incomplete or partial collections of other shit. This package contains all seven routines in this series. Introductions to kundalini yoga, chakras and mantras are set aside as video files in the folder first instead of being combined with each of the seven sets, repeated again and again.

Exploring Animation in Maya 2011 Climbing A Wall
In this collection of lessons we will learn about a wide variety of animation techniques that are designed to improve your animation skill-set.
In this course we will build an animation of a character climbing over a wall from scratch, using techniques that can be implemented in any animation. Step by step, we'll create this climb while covering various techniques like: how to block in your extremes so that finalizing the animation becomes a faster process, strengthening poses to get a more entertaining outcome, and we'll also learn how to work smarter by utilizing Animation Layers to tweak pre-existing animation non-destructively, so that by the end of this course, you'll have the knowledgebase you need to create animations quickly and proficiently.
Modeling a Character for Rigging and Animation in Maya
When rigging and animating, it's always nice to have an appealing character to work with. However, if you don't have a lot of experience modeling, it can be difficult to create a character you will be happy animating. There are free characters and rigs out there, but many have been used over and over, and it would be nice to create something you can call your own. In this course we'll cover the building of a simple character, with emotive eyes and eyebrows that you can then rig and animate. We'll look at methods for building the head, body, arms, and legs and connecting them all together. We'll talk about building the topology with an eye towards rigging and animation - building it to deform well. The ultimate goal of this course is not to give you a new pre-built model to use, but rather to teach you to use the techniques shown to create your own custom character, ready to rig.
Motorcycle Modeling Techniques in Maya
Learn a time-saving workflow to modeling motorcycles and production-ready techniques to hard surface modeling with design constraints, building complex machined and man-made parts, and methods of adding detail for realism. Contains over 8 hours of self-paced training for artists using Maya.

creating particle and fire effects with maya
In Creating Particle and Fire Effects with Maya, author Aaron F. Ross employs Maya particles and fluids to generate stunning special effects simulations, including exploding fireworks, tumbling snowflakes, and burning flames. Following a project-based approach, the course shows how to emit and render particles, write expressions to control and fine-tune effects, and animate and shade dynamic fluids.
